Investment oversight

An independent view of your mandates and managers. We monitor the performance, fees and risk of your relationships, and prepare the decisions of your family investment committee.

Entrusting assets to several managers is sound practice. What it requires is the ability to compare their results on a common basis and to ask the right questions at the right time.

We provide continuous, structured oversight, and we report portfolio results in the format and in line with your family's wishes. This is a monitoring and coordination role, not a management one: decisions and execution remain with your regulated managers.

Portfolio reporting

Wealth and performance reporting for the family, with results presented in the agreed format and in line with your wishes, on a common basis across all your relationships.

Mandate monitoring

Monitoring of adherence to each mandate and the investment policy agreed with each manager.

Manager supervision

Supervision and coordination of asset-manager activity. Management is carried out by close regulated Swiss partners; Ridger coordinates, supervises and holds them accountable.

Consolidated reviews

Regular reviews of performance, fees and risk, compared across managers and over time.

Benchmark framing

Results set against relevant, transparent benchmarks for clear perspective.

Coordination and negotiation

Coordination of investments and negotiation of terms and fees with banks and managers, in your interest.

Committee preparation

Clear, documented briefings to prepare family investment committee meetings and inform your decisions.

Oversight, not management

Our role is to observe, compare and document. You retain the choice of your managers and your decisions, with complete and impartial information.

Execution, custody and asset management remain with your chosen regulated banks and asset managers. Ridger provides consolidation, reporting, coordination and administrative oversight. Ridger does not manage assets and does not provide investment advice.
